Short version: we ask for four things on a form so we can call you back about your house, we do not sell any of it, and you can have it deleted by asking.

What this covers
This policy covers ready2inspect.com and the information Ready 2 Inspect, LLC collects when you use it. It does not cover anything you send us by phone or text, which is handled the same way as any other conversation with a contractor.
What we collect
Two kinds of thing, and we try to keep both to a minimum.
- What you type into a form. Your name, phone number, address or ZIP, and what you are dealing with. We ask for four fields because that is what we need to call you back, and we do not ask for more.
- Basic analytics. Pages visited, roughly where in the world the visit came from, and which site sent you. This is aggregate and is not used to identify you.
What we do with it
We use your contact details to get back to you about the job you asked about. That is the whole purpose.
We do not sell your information, we do not rent it, and we do not pass it to lead brokers. If we need a specialist subcontractor on your job we will tell you before we share anything with them. Whether the advertising and measurement tools described below count as "sharing" under California law is a question we have put to our own advisers; either way, the switch on the Do Not Sell or Share page turns those signals off.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand which pages are useful and where visitors come from. It records pages viewed, the rough region of the visit, the site or search engine that sent you, and which buttons were used. We keep our own note of how a visit first reached us, stored in your browser, so that if you later get in touch we know whether it was a search, an ad, or a referral. None of this identifies you by name.
If you are visiting from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, analytics cookies are not set at all. We do not show a consent banner because we do not ask for that consent; the tools simply run in a cookieless mode there.
Advertising signals are separate from analytics. You can turn them off for your browser on our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page, and if your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal we treat that as the same request without you having to ask.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while there is a live conversation and for a reasonable period afterwards for warranty and insurance purposes. If you want your details removed sooner, ask and we will remove them.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call or text the number on this site and say so. We do not require a form for that.
