Terms of service

Short version: this site is general information, not an inspection of your house. If you tick the box to be texted, we text you about your job, message and data rates may apply, and replying STOP stops it immediately.

Who you are dealing with

This site is operated by Ready 2 Inspect, LLC, a family owned restoration company based in Lake Mary, Florida. Work is performed under Florida mold assessor license MRSA4802 and Florida mold remediator license MRSR4767.

Using this site means you accept what is on this page. If you do not, the phone number still works and nothing here is required in order to hire us.

What this site is, and what it is not

Everything on this site is general information about mold, water and fire damage in Central Florida homes. It is not an inspection, it is not an assessment, and it is not advice about your specific property. Nobody can tell you what is inside your wall from a web page.

Nothing here is medical advice either. Our mold exposure article describes symptoms people commonly report and says plainly that a doctor is the only person who can connect a symptom to a cause. If you are unwell, call a doctor, not a restoration company.

Prices, timings and turnaround are described in general terms because no two jobs are the same. The only number that binds anybody is the written scope and price you are given for your own property.

Estimates, scope and price

An estimate is not a contract. Work begins on a written scope and price that you have seen and agreed to, and we do not open anything up before you have that.

If a job turns out to be larger than the scope once something is opened, you are told before the extra work happens, not after it. A change to the scope is a change to the price and you agree to it in writing the same way.

Insurance claims

We document jobs for insurance and work with your adjuster, and we will tell you honestly what we think a carrier is likely to do. We are not your insurer, we are not a public adjuster, and we cannot decide or guarantee what your carrier will pay.

You are given the cash price up front, before any claim, so you know where you stand if the claim pays nothing.

Text messages: what you are agreeing to

If you tick the consent box on a form on this site, or text us first, you are giving Ready 2 Inspect, LLC your express written consent to send text messages to the mobile number you provided.

Those messages are about your enquiry, your estimate, scheduling, and your job while it is running. Message frequency varies with what is happening on your job. We do not sell your number, we do not share it with lead brokers, and we do not send you marketing for anybody else.

Consent to receive texts is not a condition of buying anything from us. If you would rather not be texted, leave the box unticked and we will call you instead. You will get the same service either way.

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your plan and your carrier. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Text messages: stopping them

Reply STOP to any message from us and the messages stop. That works at any time and you do not have to explain why. You will get one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and after that nothing further unless you opt in again.

Reply HELP to any message and you will get our contact details back.

You can also just tell us. Call or text 407-454-9187 and say you would rather not be texted, and we will take you off it. Asking us to stop texting does not stop us working on your job.

Text messages: Florida and federal law

We send text messages in line with the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act and the Florida Telephone Solicitation Act, which is Florida's own stricter rule on this and applies to us as a Florida business.

In practice that means we obtain your prior express written consent before sending you messages, we keep a record of when and how you gave it, we do not send messages outside the hours Florida law permits for solicitation, and we honour an opt out immediately rather than at the end of some processing window.

It also means the consent box on our forms is never pre-ticked. Consent has to be something you actually did.

Reviews and photographs

Photographs on this site are of real jobs we performed. Faces, house numbers, documents and anything else identifying a customer are removed before a photograph is published.

Reviews shown here are real reviews left on our Google Business Profile, reproduced as written. We do not edit them, and the negative ones stay up too.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with them. Material changes to how we handle your phone number or your texts will be described here rather than quietly swapped in.
